LOOP London – Holland Park
Project overview
A historic London setting. A new hospitality chapter.
LOOP London is MCR Property Group’s independent hostel brand at Holland Park in Kensington. Acquired for £3 million on a leasehold basis, the property occupies part of Grade I listed Holland House, combining architectural character and a parkland setting with access to Notting Hill and central London.
The acquisition brings together an established visitor location and a clear opportunity to strengthen the accommodation offer. Its position gives guests a base from which to explore the capital, while the surrounding park provides a distinctive setting for their stay.
Holland Park forms part of MCR’s recently launched hospitality platform, supported by its central London team across Mayfair and Kensington. The approach connects property investment, active asset management, hospitality operations and brand development, keeping responsibility for the asset and guest experience within the group.

An independent brand with a clear investment strategy.
MCR is repositioning the property under LOOP London, a brand created around the idea ‘Stay in the loop’. The ambition is to combine thoughtful design, a strong social atmosphere and good-value accommodation that helps guests feel connected to the city.
Developing an independent brand gives MCR direct control over positioning, the customer relationship and the commercial model. The brand will guide the digital booking experience, welcome, shared spaces and wider guest journey as the property evolves.
Plans for a multimillion-pound capital investment programme are being finalised. The proposed programme will focus on improving accommodation and communal spaces, with additional amenities and revenue opportunities under assessment. Any works will be developed with respect for the building’s heritage and subject to the necessary consents.
The objective is to translate a distinctive location into a stronger hospitality offer: improving the guest experience, supporting operating performance and creating enduring value through active ownership.
