MCR Property Group has completed Eighth Avenue, a new residential neighbourhood of 64 contemporary homes in Aylesbury.
The development provides a mix of two- to five-bedroom homes designed around modern family life, with flexible interiors, landscaped communal areas and a purpose-built play space.
Delivered on the former car park of Oxford House, Eighth Avenue has transformed an underused site into an established new community within walking distance of Aylesbury railway station and the town centre. Residents benefit from convenient access to local schools, everyday amenities and regional transport connections.
The completed scheme includes 15 affordable homes for affordable rent and shared ownership, delivered under a £6 million Section 106 agreement. This forms part of the wider mix of homes created across the development and supports a broader range of housing needs within the local community.
MCR Property Group’s Head of Residential said:
“It is great to have completed Eighth Avenue and to see the development becoming a genuine new neighbourhood for Aylesbury.
“From the outset, our ambition was to make better use of a well-located site and deliver high-quality homes that work for modern families. The finished development combines thoughtful architecture, practical living spaces and carefully designed communal areas, all within easy reach of the town centre and railway station.
“This milestone reflects the work of the entire project team and the many partners involved in bringing Eighth Avenue forward. We are proud of what has been delivered and of the contribution the development is making to the local housing supply.
“With only a limited number of final plots remaining, we are now working with our local sales agency partner to help the last purchasers secure their new homes at Eighth Avenue.”
A limited number of final plots remain available. The remaining homes are being marketed and sold through MCR Property Group’s appointed local sales agency partner, who can provide the latest availability, pricing and viewing information.
