Martin Brown Promoted to Director of Commercial Property as Mark Hayes Moves into Advisory Role.

MCR Property Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Martin Brown to Director of Commercial Property, recognising his exceptional contribution and leadership over the past 13 years. Mark Hayes will also transition into a non-executive advisory role, continuing to support the group following his return in 2021 after serving as Director at Antrobus Capital Partners, where he advised on commercial real estate and corporate sales alongside Roger Hemming.

Martin has played a pivotal role in shaping the success of MCR’s commercial portfolio, demonstrating exceptional commitment, deep market knowledge, and strategic foresight. His promotion is a natural progression that reflects both his long-standing dedication and his vision for the future of the business.

Mark, who rejoined the group in 2022, has brought invaluable insights and direction during a period of significant growth. In his new advisory role, he will continue to support the leadership team with high-level strategic input and mentorship.

Aneel Mussarat, CEO of MCR Property Group, commented:

“Martin’s promotion is richly deserved. His energy, loyalty and leadership have been a driving force behind our commercial growth, and I’m confident he will continue to thrive in this new role. I’d also like to thank Mark for his continued dedication, his experience has been instrumental over the past few years, and we’re delighted he’ll remain involved in an advisory capacity. These changes mark an exciting next chapter for MCR as we build on strong foundations and look ahead to further expansion.”

These leadership changes come at a transformative time for MCR Property Group, following six major acquisitions already completed this year and substantial investment committed to flagship assets including Blenheim Court in Solihull and CityPark in Glasgow. They underline our drive to build on this momentum, deepening our commercial portfolio, accelerating nationwide growth, and ensuring we’re led by a team with the experience, vision and ambition to match our trajectory.
