Administrator - Manchester

We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright person to assist our acquisition and asset management team in Manchester. Following the expansion of our commercial and residential portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to assist the team. Ideally, the successful applicants should have at least one year property administration experience however this is not crucial.

Working Hours: 9-6 Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break.

Duties include:

  • Control of all Administration/Filing
  • Processing of all Purchase Orders
  • Raising Of Cheque Requests/ Credit notes etc
  • Liaising with Accounts over payments and receipts
  • Overseeing Contractor Invoicing
  • Holidays/Sickness and Leave Diary Management
  • Team Diary Management
  • Maintenance and auditing all Tenancy Schedules

Health and Safety Group Manager

Health and Safety Group Manager

Role overview:

  • Performing risk assessments
  • Carrying out site inspections
  • Investigating incidents and writing up accident reports
  • Enforcing health and safety laws and regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with current health and safety (including fire safety) legislation
  • Providing in-house training sessions to ensure staff keep up to date with company safety regulations
  • Providing guidance on safety equipment
  • Manage all health and safety administration, ensuring that adequate records are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, policies, codes of practice and procedures
  • Support contract managers, supervisors, foreman and site managers in the management of staff and subcontractors in relation to all health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Performing regular fire safety inspections and ensuring that electrical systems and firefighting equipment are well maintained and that they meet all necessary codes and regulations

Requirements:

  • Up to date knowledge of the Health and Safety legislation
  • A diploma in safety management (NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Member of IOSH
  • CSCS card
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
Commercial Sales & Lettings Manager - Manchester

Based: Manchester

Salary: Dependant on Experience plus lucrative bonus structure

We are seeking an ambitious and talented candidate to join our acquisition and asset management team in Manchester. Following the expansion of our commercial and residential portfolio, we are looking to recruit a commercial property sales and lettings manager focused on maximizing the portfolios income.

Ideally, successful applicants should have some experience in and will be responsible for the following:

  • Marketing to let and for sale a portfolio of commercial property assets
  • Liaising with agents and auctioneers for the sale and letting of assets
  • Negotiating new leases and managing all aspects of the lease acquisition process
  • Negotiating sales and managing all aspects of the sale process
  • Appraising potential acquisitions for sale
  • Have a good understanding and overview of current property market conditions
  • Have a proven record of sales and lettings in the Commercial Property Market
  • Ideally be RICS qualified, although not necessary.

 

Salary: Dependent on experience plus lucrative bonus structure

Delivery / Technical Manager

Delivery /Technical Manager

MCR Property Group is a National Investment and Development Company, which works across a wide variety of sectors, including; residential, student , offices, and industrial.

The portfolio includes a residential development pipeline in the order of 8,500 residential units originally PDR but increasingly New Build . MCR are actively in discussions to increase the pipeline to 15,000 units per annum over the next 3-5 years.

MCR is looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to lead the contractor and legal negotiations pre- and during construction.

Candidate abilities;

  • Strong existing legal and contractor network . Ideally experience with a Tier 1 or 2 Contractor negotiating and supervising Bespoke and Traditional build contracts including JCT, ACA, CIB, NEC, Trade, Design and Build, Fixed Price, and Cost Plus,
  • Working with and using strong management and entrepreneurial skills to advise colleagues, clients and financial stakeholders on the optimum contracts and contractors so that projects are set up and managed successfully, efficiently and profitably.
  • Tenacious attitude to contract negotiations, experience of dispute resolution, arbitration and /or litigation, and technical detail such as towers of 20 floors.
  • Responding quickly to changes in market conditions, business requirements and government policies

Property Investment/Acquisitions Manager – North West/North East

Based: Manchester HQ

MCR Property Group specialise in sourcing real estate development opportunities with a view towards adding/unlocking value and delivering homes and business space. The business is entrepreneurial and opportunistic in its approach. MCR Property Group has historically invested in real estate across all sectors, but currently focused on residential development.

The Role:

The successful candidate will specialise as a property and development sourcer, assisting with MCR Property Group’s Northern investment and development strategy, underwriting asset management activities and deal monitoring. Primary areas of responsibility will include financial modelling, deal appraisal, maintenance and review of ‘assets under management schedule’, research and market review for investments, internal reporting and presentations.

Candidates will get direct exposure to the board of directors and will fulfil a key role in the acquisition of new deals and asset management of existing deals.

Candidates will preferably have either an education in or experience of residential real estate development and analysis as well as possessing strong quantitative skills.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in any acquisition or disposal activities with specific responsibility to prepare and maintain valuations, financial and cashflow models which support the investment process and set out clear analysis of key investment drivers
  • Supporting in any due diligence processes associated with acquisition and disposal activities and the co-ordination of associated information gathering across the business
  • Strategy development/research for new initiatives/opportunities
  • Preparing Investment memos and other materials for internal and external communication
  • General support of senior team members in decision-making and execution of various investment strategies
  • Reporting and communications with internal stakeholders
  • Assisting in the analysis and dissemination of internal and external research knowledge
  • Forecasting for existing assets under management
  • Maintaining the ‘Interest Register, a schedule of all live deals containing the pertinent information and projections on each deal

Residential Property Development Manager/Surveyor - Manchester

MCR Property Group is an investment and development company, which works across a wide variety of sectors, including; residential, student accommodation, offices, retail and industrial.

The portfolio includes a residential development pipeline in the order of 9,000 residential units being constructed/redeveloped over the next 3 years It is MCR’s intention to ensure this pipeline is delivered quickly and efficiently, and become one of the largest homebuilders in the UK.

MCR is looking for an experienced all round property professional to assist in the growth of this part of the business.

Role overview;

  • Sourcing new development opportunities from existing and new contacts, research and networking
  • Assessing project viability and suitability to MCR’s high return model
  • Managing and working with planning, project management and sales teams, from acquisition to completion
  • Drawing up, presenting and negotiating competitive proposals and bids;

Senior Town Planner - Manchester

MCR is a successful and entrepreneurial property development and investment company working across the UK. From offices in Manchester, London and Birmingham, MCR is actively involved in acquiring and developing new residential and commercial projects.

MCR Property Group wishes to appoint an ambitious Senior Planner to join the growing Planning Team.

The requirement is in response to our planned growth for this successful team. The team is working on a range of residential-led developments and wishes to expand its offer by recruiting a highly able and driven Senior Planner.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering viable planning permissions for residential and mixed-use development projects and will have existing Planning and Design Team consultant contacts. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head of Planning, based in our Manchester office.

Administrative Details:

Working Relationships Reporting to: Head of Planning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procuring and managing Planning and Design Teams, focused on residential-led development around the country.
  • Appraising development sites, providing focused planning reviews
  • Working with junior members of the team to lead their assistance on projects and develop their

professional skills.

  • Assist in team-wide business development strategy and implementation.
  • Maintaining and expanding a high level of planning expertise.

Role Requirements:
