Financial claims professionals, the Etico Group, has signed a five-year lease at St James House, MCR Property Group’s 57,709 sq. ft. office building in Sheffield city centre.
Etico Group has taken 7,803 sq. ft. in Sheffield’s rapidly growing business and media district. The letting was overseen by local agents, CP Partners.
Located in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter, St James House provides modern office accommodation with 39 on-site car parking spaces, a substantial amount for a city centre location.
Breast Cancer Now has also recently relocated in the building, acquiring 2,750 sq. ft. on a 10-year lease with a five-year break option on the third floor.
MCR Property Group recently completed a £2.5 million refurbishment and improvement scheme on the building.
The property is highly accessible, situated on the junction of Campo Lane and Vicar Lane, and has excellent road connections with the A57 Broad Lane (Ring Road), while Sheffield rail station is a 15-minute walk away.
Charles Denby, asset manager at MCR Property, said: “Since acquiring St James House in 2014, we have let over 30,000 sq. ft. which has been a direct result of the refurbishment and the repositioning of the building as key commercial space in Sheffield.”
Rob Darrington, partner at CP Partners, commented: “Following the comprehensive refurbishment by MCR Property Group, St James House has seen significant occupier interest, with now only a few suites remaining. This is testament to the quality of the accommodation available and its prime location.”
There is still vacant accommodation in the building, with units up to 5,500 sq. ft. available. To enquire, please contact Charles Denby, asset manager at MCR Property Group, on 0161 274 3330.
